All of us here at Optimum Bikes pride ourselves on supplying only the highest quality used motorcycles. Every single bike receives a full inspection on sale before it is released to the new owner with the exception of when a customer signs a disclaimer for a trade sale.

As a company we want you to receive your bike in the best condition it can for you to enjoy but sometimes things do happen that cannot be controlled, thus we offer a 3 months / 1000 miles (whichever comes sooner) engine and gearbox warranty for all bikes under 10 years old at date of registration. Bikes that are over 10 years old at date of reg will come with all the same retail benefits but the warranty is reduced to 1 month or 250 miles (whichever comes sooner) engine and gearbox warranty unless otherwise stated. For example, classic or retro bikes will not be offered with a warranty due to the older age and nature of the bikes.

Some of our part exchanges may not be offered out with a warranty, as they may be priced to clear as a trade sale. Any bikes that have been supplied by us with a comprehensive warranty and subsequently used on track/raced will void any warranty given.

Alarms are not covered under warranty under any circumstances. This is due to the nature of the design and the exposure of the alarms to the elements of the weather. Even top-end brands such as DataTool and Meta alarms can drain batteries or malfunction after being installed on the bike for some time. We do understand it reduces insurance premiums, and helps with safety, but as it’s a manufacturers design fault and a standard fitting, we can’t take any responsibility for any faults caused by any alarm system fitted including battery drain.
